Prachatice Museum
Prachatice Museum has been established in 1904 on the basis of the local museum association initiative. The Museum is located in the ground floor of the Municipal Hall at the Prachatice Large Square. Exhibits displayed map the village life in the Sumava region, agriculture tools and villages household equipments. Less numerous but important are collections of glass, porcelain, guns, posters, post-cards and coins. Regional historians appreciate the collection of press articles, posters, post-card and photographs. Remarkable is the collection of shooting targets. The exposition features many exquisite art pieces and samples of master art and craft skills of our predecessors.
